Author's Story — Garrett Monroe
I'm not a lawyer, and I'm not going to pretend to be one.
I'm a dad. I have two kids who depend on me. And a few years ago, I watched my family go through something that shouldn't have happened.
When my father passed, I thought everything was handled. It wasn't. Parts of his estate got tangled up in probate court. Delays, legal fees, family tension. Things that were supposed to come to us didn't come the way he intended.
That's when I started digging. I wanted to understand how this happens to regular families, and more importantly, how the wealthy avoid it entirely.
Turns out, it's not magic. It's a Living Trust. And it's not nearly as complicated as the legal industry makes it sound.
I spent months learning the system. Reading, talking to people who'd done it, figuring out what actually mattered and what was just noise. Then I built one for my own family.
This guide is what I wish I'd had back then. It's written for people like me. People who don't have extra money lying around for attorney fees, but who want to protect what they've built and make sure their kids don't go through what I did.
You don't need to be rich to take control. You just need to know how.
